As a humanity we could be imperial

We just have to see our short falls,

That this Earth requires nurturing,

Rather than just exploiting.

We have the potential to be amazing,

The scope to transcend to higher levels,

If we were, to focus less on power and greed

And improve our green technology.

Investment in the future is what we need

A new way to live a new vision too see,

Where we create a future that is clean

Protecting areas that are green,

Reducing back our capacity,

Not treating food as a commodity,

We could all share in Earth’s resources equally,

If we just acted sensibly,

We need to address the population issue

We need to live within our needs resourcefully,
