Dark dreams

The deep dark web,

The unholy abyss,

The fractured nature

Of blackness,

The ebony beyond me

Reaches out, as if to cleave,

They split my very energy

Into particles of certain grief,

It breathes, it seethes,

It renders me,

Yet despite this I still believe

And through this faith,

Comes blinding light

And destroys all this

Fear and fright,

Brought on by the blackness

And the ebony night.
