Reading books is to me

Like opening new realms of fantasy,

Taking me to new places I have never been

Sailing to worlds before unseen.

Reading books expands the mind

Inspires creativity helps to define,

The words you need for self expression,

To define your mindful state,

To help you in all you create,

From the being that is your thoughts,

You grow in knowledge previously untaught,

It aides the untrained mind develop,

Into discipline and strength.

Books make you laugh,

Books make you cry,

Stir your passions

And open your eyes,

Books are power

And can teach,

As well as help us to reach

Within ourselves and within our dreams,

Books have the power to set us free.
