We must learn to overcome

Our own base instincts,

For hate, violence greed and envy,

We must learn to overcome

Our own self doubts, lack of self belief and self love,

If we are ever hopeful of overcoming

War, fear, exploitation and corruption.

If we are to overcome the wrongs with humanity,

If we are ever to overcome the destruction,

That we wreak against this Earth

Then we must learn to start

With nobody else but self,

For this is where everything begins,

And how we will create new change.
