Systematic not so pragmatic
We live in such harsh times,
We seek salvation in consolation
Where peace and love are hard to find
We live in subjugation with no rationalisation
About the way we choose to live
We need to make different choices
Learning not jus to take but also give
In this world
Built on exploitation and global saturation
Based on material greed
And where societies foster hate against those
With different coloured skin or belief
In this world built on fear
Why mothers cry tears
For the loss of their families
Where everybody’s just out for what they can get
Humanity has become a a disease
Infecting this world.
