There is stress in everyone’s life
Days where nothing seems to go right
There are times when you just want to give up
Where the world seems so devoid of love
And nobody knows because we bottle it up
Wear a smile and keep struggling on
For the human spirit was made to be strong
But even the strongest can break
And their light then suddenly fades
And they end up throwing their life away.
So spare a thought and go easier on those
Who may struggle but give of their best
Lend them a shoulder to rest their weary head
Show the in their spirit you will invest
All the love and compassion you can.
