Just a mere shadow

Of what I used to be

All my motivation

Has gone

It has just deserted me

My discipline is absent

But I cling hold of my belief

Residing in my lonely light

Of my spirituality

With no idea which way to turn

And though my love burns

And my light shines

I feel I am treading water
