In the distance of the universe I see
The brilliant incandescent glow
Of a star going supernova
And yet when it explodes
It was a long time distant
But I am only seeing it now
Through the green haze of a gas cloud
New planets maybe born.
I watch and stare its so amazing
And as I take a look around
I see the infinite array of stars
Destined to do the same
And as I rest among the nebulae
I think and I pray
That when my time is ended here
I might just stay
And enjoy
The lights and the colours
The solitude and peace
Residing in a universe
That’s so amazing to me.
