Ripples travel across a mirrored lake
Yet calm water is left in it’s wake
We don’t need to create stormy waters
Just to bring about change.
We can calmly cast out ripples
That bring about real change
Just by being subtle
And mindful in every way
We can cause a stir
Without causing a storm
Keeping things calm
Yet staying strong and relentless
Like the ripples in the water
No thing’s going to stop once it is in motion
Just like ripples in the water
We can effect the world in which we live
Calmly and bit by bit
There is no resisting it.
