Death can be as poetic as life
Shining a light despite your demise,
Or will choose to suffer as your life’s been defined
All this is a choice of your conscious mind,
Ensure where you can that love is near,
Ensure you’ve said things to those that are dear,
Say the words you always wanted to speak.
Put on a firework display
Don’t bow out with a whimper,
When we go out let’s explode
Like a supernova brilliant light show,
Live each day as if there is no tomorrow,
Leave this world full of happiness
And not one of sorrow,
When we end make it the most spectacular thing,
With your head held high
For the last reprise,
Smile at those close and say ‘see you next time
In the next life’ .
