An ode to strong women
On women’s day,
Women are strong
Women are brave,
Capable of withstanding
Copious amounts of pain,
They don’t allow
Weakness to get in their way,
They live so deep
With a passionate fire,
They have enormous amounts of desire,
Yet crossed they can summon great ire,
That a look from them
Could lay any man to waste,
They have such eloquent
And graceful taste,
I love their loyalty
Their compassion
And their beauty,
If you could see me now
You’d know I was saluting,
The brave, the courageous
Feminine divine,
Who have shown
So much love throughout
The whole passage of time.
