We do, whatever it is we need to do,

To get by and make the most use of our time,

And sometimes, we can find ourselves blind

To those around us suffering

As we become, to wrapped up with ourselves

Immune and distant from everyone else,

I think it’s so plain, we must be aware of pain

That others may endure

And where we can lend a hand

Or at least take the time to listen

Sometimes people just need to be heard

So no matter how busy you maybe try and observe

Those around who maybe hurt

And maybe you can help ease their pain and help them heal

Or at least let them feel

They are not alone and there are people that care

This not so hard to do I swear

All we need to do is be aware

To other people’s suffering out there.
