Hot love

Our love burnt so hot

It scorched the earth

And left behind just ashes

But from those ashes we rose

Like phoenix’s proud and regal

And flew high and soared like eagles

Coupled as love divine

We were as majestic as the new born day

Passionate and residing in a stately place

We shared a love most others can only crave

We were the spirits of fiery days.
