Our greatest loves and greatest fears
Are all wrapped up in one
We love the ones closest to us
And losing them is our greatest fear
It’s rational and understandable
And being human is quite clear
We will endure suffering and pain
But we will also enjoy love and happiness all the same
These experiences may make you feel you may go insane
But in the end its all a part of life’s glorious game
The rich tapestry of emotions
That roller coaster ride
Will doubtless make us stronger
And help us find what is inside of us
Where light and love
Will flicker like a flame
But burn with desire all the same
As a part of being human and playing this game
We will find ourselves tested time and again
But that is life.
