Corporate entities

Should be made to pay the bills

For the clean up of the air, the land and seas

Monsanto, Rio Tinto Zinc, Shell and BP

Just a few corporate companies guilty of polluting everything

With their pesticides that are killing bees

And the reduction of our poor air quality

With the pollution of oils and plastic in the seas

With their destruction of the environment

Through mining, fracking,

And cutting down of the rainforest trees

That exist to enable us all to breathe

Their exploitation and policies

Have lead to the dying, threat and reduction of other species

It’s about time we held the corporate companies

Accountable for the mess and destruction we now see

But once again the work and money

To clean this mess up will be down to average people like you and me.
