I sit in a silent cave and dwell
Welcome to the rock hotel,
Where though rather damp
It’s the place I choose to dwell
Focusing on the spirit in an act of mindfulness
I close my eyes and see before me
A caterpillar dwelling upon a shelf of this cave
Waiting to transform into something more beautiful than this.
The caterpillar resides into consciousness
Sitting crossed legged
And reciting mantras
Offering them to the universe as a gift
Waiting to find out if he will be blessed.
Then after a period of contemplation
He transformed into a manifestation
Of beauty and saw he was a butterfly
With beautiful filigree rainbow colours
And he reached out for the sky
Reached out to the heart of nature
And took flight.
I saw all of this from my third eye
And continued my contemplation
And decided like the caterpillar
To wait until I get my wings
So I can fly away in a colour filled display
Of happy endings
From the messages I was consciously sending
Out too the universe.
