It’s not that I am misanthropic

I love humanity really

But why is it so many disappoint

By craving hate, war and greed

These negative attitudes they say are defined within our nature

But then surely so are the positive traits

Like love, peace and compassion

As sentient beings we can make choices

So don’t blame your nature when you have the choice

Blame your ignorance and lack of tolerance and compassion

You lack of understanding that living by the sword

Means dying by the sword

And trust me karma won’t make it quick and painless

It will punish you in order for you to learn about changing

The destructive ways that you have chosen

This toxic lifestyle you’ve interwoven in to the very fabric of your life.
