Today signals a change. I go from my current job, this is my last day, to starting my new job on Monday. Its a big change going from a job I am safe on comfortable in and that I know I am good at to a new job, more challenging that is largely new and far more different. Though saying that, it’s about managing people and that’s what I do, using consistency, fairness and inspiration as my mantra. I always try getting the best out of people and try to encourage more from them so that they can grow and develop in their roles. I find listening and taking an interest in people goes a long way to winning people over. I hope that I find this to be the case in my new job, as I always believe what I do is about providing a quality service while developing and helping people along the way. Still it’s a nervous time but I am sure all will be fine. Time will tell.
