Kids run riot
Out of control
Breaking and smashing
Things up in the neighbourhood
Parents do nothing
They’re just sat inside
Allowing their kids
To go feral and run wild
No wonder then
When they are teens
They have no concept
Of what respect means
It’s no suprise to me
They end up very little use
To their society
Many just have babies
At a very young age
Many turn to drugs and booze
To help anaesthetise them through each day
And it’s not their fault
They never stood a chance
Because these are products of
Parents who were negligent
Is it a cyclical problem
We’re these parents neglected
In the same way
Or is it the rise in the drug, drink culture
That is ultimately to blame.
