The slightest thing

And you laugh with a freedom

Because you let it all go

And the wonderful thing you do

The way you care

The way you always share

And your compassion

And sense of kindness too

I miss you

And I wish to be where you are

Holding you tight

Within a warm embrace

To see you and the beauty of your face

In my dark room

In my melancholy mood

Is empty because of the lack of you

And the light and the love that you bring to my room.
