Climate change is real people

It’s the biggest threat of our age

But rather than spreading fear

And doom and gloom each day

I think its vital to show people

The future can be positive and bright

It’s not a done deal right now

So we have to approach things right

Like highlighting the damage dirty furls do

And then show the renewable alternatives

Show how this industry can provide jobs

To replace any that maybe lost

We need to show how future technology

Looks better than the old ones do

I’d rather see a wind turbine

Than a pylon with its wires so let’s replace them soon

And I’d rather see solar panels fixed to people’s roofs

Than a power substation for they are ugly too

I’d rather see clear clean blue seas

Than seas immersed with discarded plastic

And there are ways to break this plastic down

And turn it into better use

Like benches and seating and other useful things

That can replace timber

So they’ll be less need for cutting down trees

Now would that not be amazing

And in a world of obesity changing our diets

Could see us healthier and slimmer

And by cutting back on meat and back on fish both us and the earth are winners

For we won’t need to cut down forests for cattle farming

And we won’t need to overfish the seas

These are just some of the things we can do to effect a change

That can be seen world wide and globally

That you can as ctually feel a part of

Like buying eco friendly cars

Which is environmentally cool

We no longer need the gas guzzling type of transport anymore

So don’t be despondent be of hope

We can still make our future bright

Just keep your thoughts open

And be of a positive mind.
