If I took a step into limelight

Would it reflect on me too bright

If I tried to hide under a bushel

Would the shade cause me trouble

If I showed my authentic me

Would I expose my vulnerabilities

Yet if I tried to put on an act

Would I lose myself and lose all track

Of what it is that I was put here for

Just what is my real purpose

If I decided to reach out to the stars

Would I lose all trace of where you are

And in the confusion of this wondering

Would I risk missing out on everythimg

So let me dwell here focusing on love, peace and light

Contemplating kindness as the peak and the height

Of any all all potential that I have

And this is a splendid thing

And in the mindful state the universe will sing

At take me back to my beginnings

As a spiritual energy being

Created from waves of light

So I will take this opportunity

To embrace all life and sit back and enjoy the ride

And you are welcome to join me,
