The whole world burned

Due to a global fire,

As mankind perished

Within its self created pyre,

Oh, how humanity died

Yet there was no one left to cry

Nobody was left to mourn

And in a brave new dawn

Mankind will not be missed

When as it ceased to exist

Because we believed the lies

Climate change we denied

Proving our ignorance

When we should have been wise

And because nobody asked the liars

Nobody chose to be the ones, questioning

Or challenging

So we stood by and suffered self extinction.
