Tragic is the life
Wasted within shadow
Sad is the life that is toxic
Pitiful is the negativity that is embraced
By those who lose their way
And soak up fear and hate
Questions need to be asked what put them in this place
Difficult it is to understand how they lost the love
How the kindness seeped right out of them
And left them in this turmoil and mayhem
Could we ever truly know what set them on the wrong road
That now leads them into darkness
That turns their inner beauty into such an ugly state
But I really hope that one day they can learn to change their ways.
