Clandestine ages

Clandestine ages

Synthetic stages

All locked away

In secure little cages

Branded and labelled

Stories and fables

We all sit around

This one big table

Wearing different masks

Taking on tasks

Following our hearts

We are ripped apart

Bleeding empathy

Tolerance compassion

Love is now officially

Well out of fashion

Hooked and addicted

Can anybody fix it

Or is this now the form

Of our future exitence

Futile is resistance

In a world of rank and file

Spirits are defiled

Aces are now wild

Close your eyes

And sleep well

My little innocent child

And hold on for love.
