Deep in the belly of sea
We find a way to breathe
Down in the darkest depths
We walk step by step
Into the belly of the big whale
Big whale of life
Like Jonah swallowed and denied light
But carried forth to salvation
To once more walk this life
Upon the land in the light
Out we came from the sea
Like we did before
In the beginning though we had to grow legs and crawl
This time round, we are complete
Within a life that is spiritually replete
Striding out the mouth of the whale
Straight out of the darkest deepest sea
We are reborn to start once more
This is the way and the spiritual law
On a journey that we did before.
