Poverty the government says is not it’s fault

That’s not an argument that should be bought

Starving kids of decent education and decent diets

The lack of equality should be a cause for riots

But others who do ok are bought off with tax cut bribes

And lots of fucking shiney material shit to enhance their lives

Meanwhile if poor people aquire anything that’s seen

As beyond what they should be able to afford then they can’t be in real need

Stupid fucking statements from people living in debt filled luxury

They are never happy unless the poorest are on their knees

Parents feeling guilty because their kids they struggle to feed

No Christmas presents under a feeble Christmas tree

Meanwhile benefits get cut or they work on zero hours

There is no help from those who hold the fucking power

Disabilty cut backs, people evicted from their homes

As energy, water and food prices keep on fucking soaring

It makes me mad and anger when government refuse to shoulder the blame

People living out of food banks should be societies ultimate shame

Along with people living rough out on the streets

And I ask my self is this what you see as fairnessfand equality.
