Who are we really?

Quivering in the chill night air

Into the valley of the cosmic lights I stare

There is see the palpable solar flares

It makes me humble and lays me bare

That so much power seeks to dare

Me into its realms and I am aware

That in the universal consciousness in which we share

We are as brings the most creative yet impotent there

We sacrafice personal knowledge and universal understanding

For materialistic lifestyles which is painfully and glaringly

Neither food for the soul or nourishment for our being

We should appreciate the miracle we’re even breathing

The cataclysmic truth about existing

Within spiritual, cosmic, solar realms

Is the courage needed to take the helm

Live life on your own relying on nobody else

An existential authority who understands that the wealth

Is in knowledge, self love and spiritual understanding

This is not a fashion product thing awaiting branding

It’s a plethora energy coming together

Just small beings on a tiny dot of a planet

In an ever expanding universe that when you achieve understanding

Only exists in your own conscious minds eye

Created by and imagination so abstract

That it defines and defies all the present illusion that detract

For us knowing who we truly are.
