On Mount Olympus
Lived the Gods,
Who looked down on us
But who have now long gone,
Replaced by mere mortal suited men
Who keep determining,
How we should live our lives.
Under qualified as they may be
They use money and material things
To hold over you and me,
They are responsible for
Causing wars and death
Why do we still allow this yet.
They hold dominion,
The hold sway,
Over all we do
Because greed, power and control is what the crave
And this is as true in the past as it is today.
