Do you think you get the best from life when you’re compliant,

Do you think it’s to risky to be defiant,

Why is it you feel the need to be reliant,

In those who would not take risks for you

Subdugating to those who perpetrate your abuse,

Yet we all these people to rule and tell us what we can and can’t do,

They do well from this but we live a life of struggle

Where is your mind at, are you befuddled,

Living life in a servile state

Leave you with self doubt and self hate,

We are worthy of a whole lot more

Time to rise up and get up off the floor,

And decide that your life is worth living for.
