Put your hate on lockdown

And shout out the messages if fear,

And embrace this world that has so much to cheer

Despite the angst and stress of this year,

And in memory of all the loss of those so dear

Inspite of the sadness and tears,

Where new horizons and new beginnings

Can yet be our salvation if we choose

The positive path and avenue,

On this sojourn of life where we pay our dues

Before vanishing in to the deep cosmic hue.
