Nothing seems to stay in
My recall is fading,
Maybe only important stuff
Resonates with me,
I worry I keep forgetting
All of mundane things,
I think I should focus
On doing my writing,
It’s the only thing that sticks
These thoughts they keep on swirling,
Around my mind
And there’s not much room,
For anything else
Or is it age that makes my memory age,
I struggle day by day
But when I sit and I am writing,
Everything is ok in every way.
