Except these people

We all see the signs,

In these dark days

When caught the don’t resign,

The public aren’t stupid

But act like they’re blind,

Putting up with lies time after time,

Are criminals defined,

By their corrupt actions

Which are many and rife,

This is the way of political life,

All sides they are guilty

From the left to the right,

We need a better system

If the future is to be bright,

Let’s ensure that these people

Pay for this by doing time.
