Could we have survived the slings and arrows
If we’d known the road we traveled,
Was the wrong one and that we were wasting our time
Could we have made it on our own,
Journey so far alone
In the darkness and the storms that came our way,
So though even though things got tough
And the road beneath us it got tough,
Our companionship and love saw us through
And though some said we were no match,
They never had the slightest clue
That our love for each other was deep and true,
And in the end it was that, that got us through.
