Opening neural doors

Lavender and jasmine scents

Wafts across my senses,

As I drift out of reality demesnes,

Transcending to places unknown

Places where stranger lives are sown,

In a reality where nothing fits

Where dreams come true and can exist,

Colours collide and coalesce

One minute ordered then there’s chaos and mess,

Fluctuating images hard to make out

So hard to figure what this reality is about,

Hard to focus, hard to detail

Has my mind find left and gone of the rails,

Yet in the background I still smell the scent

Of lavender and jasmine growing more intense,

Then I back where I was before I left panting hard now,

And finding myself out of breath,

I need to visit more this mystery realm

To find out what it is and if there is more,

This is what happens when you open up new neural doors,

In your mind in a way that you’ve never done before.
