Vividly I see the lies and corruption in life,

That’s why I refuse to be politified,

It’s not that I don’t care and don’t have views,

But all those who are politicians break the rules,

The majority of them lie and think that, that’s ok

Earning off lobbyists who increase their pay,

But not in currency but in boat cruises and holidays

There’s so many different ways in which they get paid,

For talking up an issue and promoting it each day

In the halls of power where the laws are made,

Representing big pharma’s who profit from our Ill health,

To multi national corporations who destroy our earth, for their own wealth,

And none of this could happen but for corruption in power

By those men and women sitting in ivory towers,

It seems that they act above the law

Because they keep getting away with it,

And the organisations hack them are all extremist,

To few rarely speak for the people

They’re just talking for themselves,

Ell if you don’t I’ll leave politics up on the shelf,

And be my own authority and live by my own rules

Deciding what direction I am going to choose

I am not a political follower,

No I am not a fucking sheep,

My eyes and mind is open and so I keep myself free,

Free from all the bullshit lies

And free from all their greed,

You may rule so many things but you won’t ever rule me.
