I got distracted from keeping it real

Raw and honest it’s not about the feels,

It’s about people disappearing in the middle of the night

For what? For standing up for what is right,

I campaign for Tibet, I have for years

Witnessed immolations and shed real tears,

Their reasoned arguement China fears,

Their strength the gain through meditation

Is backed up by true affirmations,

Yet China is causing ethnic and cultural annihilation

Of a beautiful and peaceful people,

Shout it from the rooftops

And the church steeples,

Free Tibet is not just something to say

Like Black Lives Matter the need is great,

To stop injustice and make a change

Save Tibet, don’t be afraid,

To resonate this refrain,

Standing up for those who are being oppressed

Of all qualities of being human this is the best,

So stand up for a free Tibet.
