Whispers abound

From the unfounded,

Here and there

They are everywhere,

Whisper spread

Without much care,

Undermining, tarnishing

Not of your own doing,

But from the perception

In the mind of others,

Whispers spread

From one another,

You must resist

Being the victim,

Of this toxicity

It don’t matter one little bit,

It says nothing about you

And more about them,

People will think

What they will in the end,

Whisper, whisper

Always whispers.
