What’s going on today?

The whole world’s in disarray,

Dystopian manipulative times

Being played out before our eyes,

It’s like bad reality television inspired

Megalomaniac leaders who should be reviled,

Have become the top of the pile

Riding on waves of nationalistic xenophobia,

Sailing on tides of violence and hate

Suddenly we’re living in nanny states,

Our personal freedoms are being eroded away

I think it’s time for things to change,

People have to demand better days

Demand better leaders and cleaner environmental ways,

And demand they stop playing rich man games,

What’s going on today

Is not acceptable in any ways,

And crazy governments in disarray

Need to be quickly replaced,

For the sake of humanity and our earth today.
