Rain on a sunshine day

I feel the rain upon me on a sunny day

I see the rainbows arching across my gaze,

I dream in high definition in transition

I examine all the beauty and how it is positioned,

In perfection without any flaws

Nature is supreme and created to adored,

How can anyone damage something so outstanding

Only a twisted, greedy mind that insisted,

That chopping and burning everything away

Is somehow always ok,

So the pollute and poison this and so it decays

Before my eyes and I have to say,

It makes me angry and I know I must stop it

I love the beauty of this subtropic,

I have ideas about this environmental topic,

And standing in this wonderland of stunning flowers

In this blissful utopia I could spend hours,

But I see the disease and I feel the cancer

Eating away at it like a canker,

And I can’t stand it so I will fight to my last breath

I won’t be a party to this planets death,

The future generations don’t deserve that

So though overawed by all this beauty, I know I have to act,

To protect it and heal it before it’s to late,

We must all stand together to save all aspects of nature in every way.
