We are all born the same

All that’s different is our names,

We’re all born equal

We all have to learn to crawl,

It’s only society that divides

Puts into groups and makes us take sides,

Saying we are not one human race

Is a big lie and a disgrace,

We all born innocent and so we deserve respect in that moment,

People say respect has to be earned

But here is something I have learnt,

Respect is not domething that you gain

It’s something you lose when you shame,

The authentic person you were born to be

When respecting others is something you cease,

But if you remain kind and full of love

Respect you’ll always get enough of,

Be tolerant and good of heart

Stand for unity and play your part,

And choose to be the light and not the dark.
