Do we truly know someone
Beyond the façade that they put on,
Do we ever truly see behind the masks
That those we think we know and love wear,
Ask if you are guilty as well
Of putting on fronts so that people can’t tell,
Who we actually are in truth
If this can be us than it must be true
To those who we choose to believe in
And who we try desperately to place our faith
But in the darkness of our minds, we hope it not misplaced
But how can we really ever know.
