All governments are pernicious
Though they act like they protecting you,
Protecting you from who though?
This is my question to you,
Most of our enemies are caused by the things our government do,
Then they take away our privacy and our liberty too
And they do this in the name of keeping you and me safe,
But the only reason we’re at risk
Is because of invading or interfering,
In the affairs of another sovereign state,
Or to generate more wars that fund the arms race,
For there’s more money in war and death
Then there is in harmony and peace,
And while they do the things they do
We’ll never achieve the unity and peace that we seek.
