Don’t believe the lies
Keep on asking why,
So many in poverty
And suffering have to die,
Homeless on the streets
Or because there’s not enough to eat,
In an advanced society and a world of plenty
Now ask yourself the question,
Do you do enough?
Do you offer enough compassion and enough love
Tell me why is there no equality,
In a world do full of greed
Why the need for food banks to help those in need,
While others by from supermarkets
More food than they can ever eat,
It’s unfair and it’s obscene
And a shameful stain on all societies,
Who do not do enough to right this wrong that we all see.
