I’ve been distracted

From my spiritual path,

By questions I needed to ask

Before I realised,

This life is impermanent

And all that we go through,

Well it’s all just a test

To see if we can maintain

Our love and inner peace,

Through all of this hurt and suffering,

And whether we can create

Better stories and lives,

By breaking free

From the illusions that bind,

And not to get attached

But connect to the real,

Conscious reality

That within you you feel,

Still the mind

And meditate on bliss,

This journey is a spiritual gift,

To show you your strength

And your weaknesses,

So we can learn from them

And show us what it is to blessed.
