Give me a spiritual life

One of inner peace and love,

And goodness light

Spare me from the suffering,

We sometimes self inflict

When we decide to enter conflict,

Resist the world of hate

For that world is toxic,

It’s to easy to get lost in it,

Understand that others

Have their own path to walk,

Different from ours

The secret is not to baulk,

From the journey we are on

Keep focused on the way ahead,

Keep compassion in the heart

Choose kindness not hate instead,

Feel the light and warmth in your soul

And maintain forgiveness,

This is the secret to spiritual success.
