Don’t waste energy on toxic comments

Negativity is easy to come by,

But it something into which you shouldn’t buy

Believe in yourself and simply try,

To understand why they feel like they do

Why they think it’s acceptable to abuse or troll me and you,

Is their life that bad are they that insecure

That they have to try to bring us down,

So that they can feel good and wear a crown,

But it’s a crown of barbs that is prickly and sharp

And it tears them apart,

So don’t let them affect your mood

Understand they’ve real issues in truth,

And what they perceive is not about me or you

It’s about them in all truth.
