It’s hard to get through to
People who won’t see real views,
They just see what they want to
Their own flaws they can’t see through,
Through their stubbornness the see nothing wrong
With their own misguided attitudes,
Everybody else is wrong and they’re right
Despite the fact their life is full of pain and strife,
Just carry on repeating the same mistakes
Sleepwalking refuse to wake,
From their ignorant, arrogant state,
I am not judging them unfairly
I just care that their lives will break,
Carrying on these same dysfunctional ways
To unwilling and pigheaded to change.
