Kids caught in the crossfire

Kids caught in the crossfire

Of dysfunctional family feuds,

All those who are fighting

See them as tools to use,

The kids they have no understanding

So are left ignored and confused about,

It’s the worst kind of abuse,

Being caught in between the crossfire

Of families at war,

Both on either sides,

Desperately keeping score

But who counts all the damage inflicted on the kids,

Caught up in the crossfire

I hope you have to pay account one day,

For every single thing you did

And for the games played.

  2. “I hope you have to pay one day” sounds a little like you’re on one of the warring sides? The post does reflect sensitivity to a real problem, however.

    1. I don’t get involved in feuds but I see it slot and how it effects the children. People who ignore the kids and damage will pay when those same kids are old enough to tell them how they felt and the damage it’s done. 🙏Faux

It is so sad when kids get caught in the middle.
