We stood astride rivers and mountains

We strode across continents and borders,

We were giants in the time in which we were living

We were the ancestors of mankind,

But the we left and went to the stars

Giants of mankind are what we are,

And we kept an eye on our earth

We helped to build the pyramids,

Teaching humanity it’s true worth

Yet all they wanted was to kill,

And wage war for territory

And fight battles based in greed,

And despite helping them build great things

We decided it was time to leave,

For humanity couldn’t build harmony

And could not find a way to live in peace,

We are giant ancestors of mankind

But we decided to leave them all behind.
